What They Say...
"I had the pleasure of working with Angela to develop a volunteer engagement system for Glorify Performing Arts, and her impact was invaluable. She partnered with our small nonprofit to create a coaching package that fit our needs, timing, and budget. Angela brought a wealth of experience, from creative ideas that helped us craft clear and compelling role descriptions, to practical resources and helpful templates. Her collaborative and thoughtful approach made the process smooth and inspiring. I highly recommend Angela Williamson to anyone building their organization's volunteer initiatives from scratch or those looking to refresh their current volunteer systems for greater engagement and growth."

"I have volunteered at the Blood Bank of Delmarva (BBD) since 2021 in my current role, and it’s been a pleasure to work with Angela Williamson as the Volunteer and Community Relations Specialist at BBD. Angela has really helped to shape this role into a real opportunity to give back to the community. She listens to volunteers and learns what individual skillsets volunteers bring to the organization, and works to match them with a role that suits them and helps build their skills while also building the capacity of BBD. This care and dedication has made my volunteer experience truly fulfilling and I feel that I am helping BBD accomplish its goals and have even greater impact in the community. She has set up efficient and effective systems to provide volunteers, her position, and the BBD as an organization the tools needed to measure impact and to continuously improve. She cares about people and the mission, and that shows in all that she does. It’s a pleasure to work with Angela. "

"Few people possess the ability to truly see everyone in the room and find the best in them. Angela Williamson is one of those unique individuals. She champions people and brings out their best whether they are a volunteer or a colleague. She makes sure everyone feels seen and appreciated, especially when the person is struggling. She is a fantastic mentor and friend to everyone she comes in contact with. Angela is passionate about volunteers and the valuable work they provide to organizations. Working with her on the DAVA board, I have seen her use her expertise to help countless volunteer managers to improve their programs and themselves. She is the first one to jump in and help when someone asks. She uses creative problem solving abilities to help find solutions for issues and utilizes others in the best way possible to get the work done. Ms Williamson has helped me to become better at my job and has championed me every step of the way, especially when I have doubted myself. She has been an amazing cheerleader as I have grown in my position. She is simply the best!"

"I was watching a webinar I had missed and decided to reach out to the speakers days later. How refreshing to hear back from Angela the same day! Her commitment to professional relationships is pretty much unmatched and I am excited to see how we can work together in the future. If you work with volunteers, she is the person you should connect with and has the experience and know-how to help your organization grow your people!"

"There are certain people who inspire others to be better, give more, and create a cohesive vision to lead a team successfully. Angela Williamson is one of those people. I first met Ms. Williamson in 2008 when she presented at the Delaware Conference on Volunteerism about how she created Hagley Museum's first-ever volunteer handbook. Soon after, she led the Delaware Association of Volunteer Administrators (DAVA) as President. At the time, the organization was on the verge of dissolution. Thanks to her leadership, it is still running today. Ms. Williamson is an innovator. She created a YouTube channel to connect with her hundreds of Hagley volunteers and grew the Blood Bank's volunteer pool from single digits to hundreds in less than a year. On top of all of this, she is kind, empathetic, and funny. She is a true gift to all she encounters."
